Beginners sewing machine workshop - learn how to use a sewing machine at our workshop in Sedgefield, Durham.
Want to learn how to sew using a machine but don't know where to start? Join sewing teacher Michelle who will guide you through sewing machine basics to make a project. This is a beginners level session so absolutely no experience is required. We do a different project on each date so if you want to come to more than one you will learn something new each time. Please see the dates for project.
Just bring yourself as everything else is provided. Including the sewing machines and basic fabric - calico or similar with basic pattern. If you have your own machine and are wanting guidance with it feel free to bring it along. If Bringing your own Machine please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for room set up. As this is a beginners session basic fabrics will be available to use this is usually a plain calico or similar pattern's. This is for the purpose of practicing. If you want to bring your own fabric please do so or we do have a selection of fabrics available to buy on the day if you prefer. You will receive full tuition including written instructions to take home along side support from your friendly, knowledgeable teacher.

Cancellation Policy
Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:

Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
- Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date

Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date
Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.
If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.
In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
