This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own kiln-fired enamelled Christmas decorations.
During this workshop you'll learn how to create and apply a design using powder enamel on metal shaped blanks. You'll be given 1 of each design (3 shapes total) to decorate, learning how to prepare and clean your copper sheet before applying any enamel.
A variety of application techniques will be taught, then giving you complete creative play throughout the remainder of this full day session.
We'll have an hour to break for lunch at around 12.30pm. Feel free to bring your own packed lunch. There's a Co-op in the village along with some cafes where you can sit in or take away too.
You'll be provided with everything you need to make x3 enamel decorations
During this workshop refreshments including festive treats will be provided.
Places on this workshop are limited to eight people as we'll be sharing a kiln and this allows individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist and oversee each project.


All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.


 


Cancellation Policy

Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:

  • Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
  • Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date

Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.

If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.

In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
