Stained Glass Workshop

Join Anne from Hodgers Creations to learn the art of stained glass. With over 30 years experience Anne is a wonderful tutor and well suited to guiding both complete beginners and more experienced learners.   

We will fully explain the safety aspect of the equipment and materials that you will be using on the day, before you get to practice cutting the glass using practice glass. There's plenty of coloured glass to choose from to pick the colours of your honeycomb light catcher.

You will be shown how to safely use a glass grinder, before moving on to the copper foil technique. Finally we will use solder to create the leaded effect to make a beautiful stained glass suncatcher.

Advice given on care of your finished piece. You will be given a beeswax wrap to protect your work to take it home.

Tea and coffee is available throughout

All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.

Cancellation Policy

Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:

• Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
• Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date
• Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date

Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.

If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.

In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
