Unleash your creativity and delve into the wonderful world of crafting by joining our coaster class. In this engaging workshop, you'll have the chance to learn how to make your very own set of stylish coasters. Whether you opt for the classic Terrazzo design or the trendy splatter technique, you're in for a treat! Please note if your chose terrazzo the chips will be pre-made for your ease.

You’ll discover the art of creating beautiful homeware pieces using the eco-friendly material known as Jesmonite (a water-based resin material, ensuring a safe and environmentally-friendly crafting experience). Throughout the workshop, you'll be guided through the process from start to finish, ensuring a fun and stress-free experience where no prior knowledge is necessary.
- Learn how to mix, pigment and cast Jesmonite into silicone moulds
- Create your own unique coaster set with bespoke colours and patterns
- Understand sanding and polishing techniques to reveal intricate designs
- Seal your coasters for a polished finish ready to take home

This class is perfect for beginners as no prior experience is needed. All of the materials will be provided for you.
If you have an apron that would be great or alternatively wear ‘old’ clothes.

All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.



Cancellation Policy

Payment for workshops must be made in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, cancellation fees apply:

  • Over 21 days before the workshop date - full refund given or the opportunity to book another date
  • Between 7 and 21 days before the workshop date – no refund given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund given and no opportunity to book another date

Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method.

If you do not turn up for your workshop, you will not be eligible for a refund nor will you be eligible to move your booking to an alternative date.

In the unlikely event that a workshop has to be cancelled by From Loft to Loved, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be given as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.
